2.0 8v cutting out ? Anyone know ?

Hi my recently bought 2.0 8v Vento is cutting out on me anyone know why ? I think iv herd about problem with the 8v before but can't remember what lol any help would be good:)

No not the best luck haha. Its odd tho it only does it once every time I use it lol iv been told to clean the throttle body aswell so I'll do that and I'll have a butchers at the dizzy

when is it cutting out?

Have you had the idle valve checked?

I had this problem on my old Mk3, that's what it ended up being.

It just used to die when mine was cold, but if you gassed it, it would die coming up to a junction...

Check that out first bud...

Yea Turned out to be dry joints in the ecu relay. Fine now touch wood
