Jimbo's MK2 GTI RE2000 16v

right guys the time has come to sell my mk2, i have been posted to RAF leuchars in east scotland!! fun!
ive now got a house and can't afford to have 2 cars! so she's got to go!

The car has now covered 131,000 miles
mot'd untill end of january
will have 6 months fresh tax

Engine spec is as follows

3staged angled valve guides
bigger valves
forged pistons
lead idium big end bearings
reworked injection system
Cable shift box
Singlemass flywheel
stainless 4-1 manifold
stainless magnex exhaust system
with all the original GTI ENGINEERING paper work to prove!
comes with dyno print out 172.2 bhp @ 6125 and 154.4 ft?lbs @5425

the general condition of the car is not to bad just a small rust patch on the bottom of the drivers door (50p size) possibly supply with a fresh new door
some rust coming through on the filler cap that has been sprayed over by the last owner! i can at extra cost get the filler cap all sorted!
some paint flaking off on the front bumper, as before can get this sorted if desired!

G60 arches
G60 sills
FK coilovers
ronal turbos not in the best of condition but all strait and true(all tyres are good)
jetta front end
4 spot 16v front end
crystal rear lights
16v rear lights

Interior of the car is in very good condition with hardly if any bolster wear on the seats!
sunroof model(no rust at all)
electric windows
nardi steering wheel and boss

new parts within the past 2000 miles:

steering rack
L+R tie rods
L+R tie rod ends
2x ball joints
2x wishbones
rocker cover gasket
intake gaskets
oil filter
starter motor
alternator
dubpower 8mm leads
dizzy cap
rotor arm.

car needs to go within the next 3 weeks

not really sure on a price to ask??

I feel that a fair price is £1600 but i am open to offers

Yea I suppose thats the problem you need a quick sale, otherwise you could ask a lot more I think. I'd definately snap that up if I was in the position to be buying one
