| looks good if you look at the floor in the cab you can see that the floors are universal, have the pattern stamped on, steering box will have to be altered/changed and a right hand dash board. | |

| from what littlie info i know about bays, lol.... as said, u can swap the bits over on the floor, or buy 2 x new floor sections, a rhd drivers side, and a rhd left side..... urm, as for dash, teh inserts for guages etc and glovebox are interchangeable, so shouldnt be difficult, just a matter of swapping them over, and maybe extending a few wires?? then you may want a rhd speedo cable? if theya re different... and you'll deffo deffo need a rhd steering box, the column will no doubt be the same, but the gearstick may be different? depends if its cranked towards the driver or not??? | |

| Cheers for the advice guys, so dont look difficult at all then, I didnt know if there would be any cutting any welding etc on the body/chassis involved. I wondered if it being a LHD it would be more to insure???? | |

| i didnt find the insurance a problem on my lhd drive split, but i know a few people have found it costs a little more?? the gearstick i think will stay same as i think it's straight up, the instuments on the dash gets swapped over but i can help you out on a rhd drive set if you went a head , as rixy said the wires will need to be longer, even the fuse box might need to be moved?? alot of work though | |

| Q plate, Write tp wolfsburgh factory museum in germany to request what is essentially the birth certificate for the vehicle. This provides proof of age and date of manufacture - I believe that the DVLA are able to give an age related plate with this evidence, well they used to 10 years back I'm pretty sure.
Just collect the numbers off your vehicle and check they match your document n'all.

| yeah man, tis done...just not sure how to get in touch with the dvla to get it changed? does the van need to be mot'd to change it (as they do for private plates etc?)
Any info you can help me with would be ace...the birth certificate is here, showing age, orig eninge number and optional extra's and what not.....just need to get hold of the dvla...
I cant find anywhere on their site that lists a phone number, or anything, just says to go into a branch? im guessing the nearest is in norwich? | |
