black m2 golf 16v for sale 99,000 miles on the clock

99,000 miles (not alot for a car of this age or for any mk2 for that matter)

this car is not perfect and does need a bit of work.

i bought it as a little winter project however i dont have time to carry on and plus with 2 other mk2's, i have to share money between them all.

GOOD POINTS
at some point someone has spent alot of money on this car as;
its been repainted in black
smoothed the tailgate and relocated the numberplate in the rear bumper.
fitted jetta front end
fitted g60 arches
smoothed the jacking points on the side skirts
all of the big bumper kit has then been snoothed into the body. (proper 90's style)
the doors have been dehandled and delocked and the rub strips have been smoothed
single wiper kit at the front
smoothed wiper hole at the rear
fitted lowered suspension (not coilovers)
17" alloy wheels all with good tread on tyres.
Alarm and immobiliser

BAD POINTS
2 new doors are needed as the solenoids for the delocked doors packed up, so the doors have been dented etc in order to get the doors open
ideally the bumpers all need fresh fillerwork and paint to tidy up cracking joint lines in the previous smoothed body work
it needs an interior (seats) (i should be able to find a drivers seat so the car can be driven away)
the engine needs setting up as its been stood for a few months (timing checked, CO2 etc)
the wiring around the lights need looking at as theyve been chopped about
clutch cable needs replacing (got this )
needs a good clean

i will be slowly doing bits and bobs on this to tidy things up.

this is a good car that need some bodywork to really set it off!
i had to take various engine components to bits to replace a rotten core plug, HOWEVER THIS CAR STARTS EVERYTIME.

in 2010 the previous owner spent at least £320.95 (receipts to prove) on things such as exhaust downpipe, oil cooler, fuel pump, HT leads etc.

i was wrong about the MOT, this runs out in february, so i will be putting a fresh MOT on it over the next few weeks.

this morning i have sorted the head lights out, so they now work as they should and i have also bled the cooolant system so the heaters work (although the fan motor only works on number 3)

ive put these seats in so the car is drivable

but the back is empty apart from stereo wiring




the car has been set up, to ensure its runs better than it did when i first got it. although it still hunts when cold but this tops after a few minutes.
