once the summer gets closer more dubbers will start appearing again we had some good laughs at the shows

sorry to hear that you are giving up as we were only just getting started with you guys. Both Barry and I would like to thank you very much for making us feel very welcome and last night was a ball, just a shame that as you said no one really made an effort.
I know that those of us who was there had a great time and a good laugh, thanks again Tim for your hard effort, if things change then please let us know

Hey Tim, sorry to hear this mate and sorry for not letting you know we couldn't attend, been a bit hectic our way lately but should have found the time to drop you a line.

Was looking forward to some of the shows this year but hopefully you guys will be still going to some club or not?

Again real shame but a club is only as good as the effort put in by it's members you can't just keep on putting in without getting any show of support, met some really nice people and camping with you guys at Whitenoise was awesome.

Thanks for all your hard work and those like Ash whom gave their support.

Thanks Tim and family for last night THE DODGY-DUBBERS FANCY DRESS PARTY, we a shattered today we had an absolutely wonderful time.
It was just a shame about the turn out, like was said last night, the quality of people attending was brilliant, it was a shame there wasn't quantity too!
I can see what you mean?
These things may be free to everyone else but you still need people to turn up as YOU have handed out your own cash to organise the event.

this is a massive shame as i know tim has put in alot of effort in the club since day one and he has done a great job to get the club where it stands now

unfortuneately its hard for myself to get to alot of meets etc as im 100 miles away, i had my tiger outfit sorted and everything however work commitments here make it hard for myself.

i think dave is right tho, once the weather picks up and we all get busy again working on our cars, getting to shows and socialising again the morale will become alot better but its a huge pity that its come to this.

what do you guys think about still running the spit n polish? if everyone does there part theres no reason why it couldnt happen again, same applies for the meets, keep meets on the second sunday of every month as i think that the turnout should start to increase now that the weather is on the rise

i presume the meets will still continue?? because id still go its just weather and my car bein a write off meant i havent been to many meets over the recent months,

but the camping meets we've had i thought have been a good turn out.

i just put it down to the weather etc........

is mall still doin admin on the forum? and tim it is a shame but im sure you wont dissappear totally see you at the shows/meets

this is upsetting but i can understand where Tim is coming from but on the other hand i can also understand how quiet it gets during the winter months.

i'll be more than happy to continue to attend meets and shows although i haven't recently due to
not having the same love for my mk3 as my mk2.

Very sad to see you going mate, as others have said, some of us aren't as local as some of you lucky peeps, so to travel up to Sutton, or King's Lynn is a good drive for us "Out in the sticks". Hope to see you in the meets tho Tim. All the best mate...

Still be up the pub second Sunday of every month guys

This is very very sad times indeed! although i can see where Tim is coming from! Is a real shame though as we are now becomming a well established club and as winter is drawing to a close and show season is approuching now is the time when a lot of dubbers come out of hibbernation and go with there chosen clubs for shows and club events!! I took on the running of the forum to keep things ticking along, surely there is someone or a few people on here that are willing to help Tim out with the running of the club and the organising of events etc...?? i for one have been part of loads of different motor clubs over the years and the Dodgy Dubbers by Far has been the most friendly, the most out right fun and just straight up the Best out of all of them!! We have a great club here guys with great people in it...... Do we really want to see the end of the Dodgy Dubbers?? I sure as hell dont!!

i'll help too, i'll grap the phone numbers of everyone from Tim at the next meet then it'll just be as much as a text reminder to everyone each meet
and just stick a thread up as and when we're going to a show, the clud doesn't need a 'leader' we can all make it self sufficant.
