Thanks Tim for Trying so Hard???

Thanks Tim and family for last night THE DODGY-DUBBERS FANCY DRESS PARTY, we a shattered today we had an absolutely wonderful time.
It was just a shame about the turn out, like was said last night, the quality of people attending was brilliant, it was a shame there wasn't quantity too!

These things may be free to everyone else but you still need people to turn up as YOU have handed out your own cash to organise the event.
I know I am new to the club but!
If people want the club to continue they are going to have to commit to the club a lot more, when someone organises something weather its winter, spring, summer or autumn the club runs on, it was an evening event, for the club members to socialise to strengthen the bond of the club, it’s not every month, it is rare during the off peak months for a club leader to try and help the camaraderie between club members.
This was the first event other than the monthly meets I have been able to come to, as I didn’t get the bug till mid September last year, but thought it would be a great opportunity to meet other members and those I met last night made both myself and the wife most welcome.
The summer time is the show season but the turn out for the meets over the winter has been abysmal for such a large group. The same people turn up every month, if you’re not there it’s NOT going to give our group leader the confidence to organise things to happen during the summer.
We don’t want to be twiddling our thumbs wondering why nothing is happening, that is because NO-ONE could be arsed to turn up and show commitment during the off-peak months.
Would you organise something for the summer if only 14 people would turn up???
The facebook club page has 341 members the Forum as 122, now I know some people are on both pages but either way 14 people out of a possible 350-400 people is a bit of a letdown.

If you think the club should continue don’t you think that we should all start trying a little harder to show that we can get behind our club and prove that we can be great in Norfolk............?

with a little more interest it will get better, but I don't know weather anyone will be organising anything soon unless there is a little more attendance, from other members.
I wait with baited breathe.....????

Tim as done a lot over the last couple of years but after last night he has lost the heart in trying to make it work.... so its upto us to get this back up to where it was...!

It seems a gd club it wud be a shame to frow all tims hard work away
