| Hi all i thought i would post some up to date pictures. I bought some bits off messyman (Pete) Gti single light grill Heater blower unit Center console with vdo gauges Window wiper mech Some plastic bits for seat belts all for £40 good times. Heres some pictures with bodykit off and some of the new parts. | |

| I’m now converting my little 1.1 golf to a 1.8 16v kr Things I had to do so far Cut, flip, move and weld drivers side engine mount and change front, rear and gearbox mount Change steering rack for a gti rack and gti gear linkage oh and paint bay Engine came out of a mk2 golf z600 some photos of car and taking engine out | |

| hopefully sorted then.
probably would of been good practice to replace the thermostat and possibly water pump while you was at it bob. least then it would be done.
have you changed the cam belt kit since youve owned the engine???

| new coil and made a 4mm thick aluminium heat shield at work because its getting hot from the engine heat and causing it to shall and new starter motor turn the dizzy cap 180 and swapped the leads so are still in the same place 1 2 3 4 | |
