| Heres my Bug, not a big Project as it was driven to mine last July from Derby so there aint too much work Iv got 4 months to have this ready for RTTS so need to pull my finger out. The plans are to replace the front beam with a new adjustable inc new assembly, drop spindles, and replace front drums for discs, There are some small sections underneath that made it fail its MOT so will have this repaired by a proffesional restorer. Id like to try and keep a similar ride height on the front but lower the rear to match, replace the Tbars with the origional Europas and fit additional German Quality chrome to the exterior. Also will replace All the rubbers throughout Inside there are already a set of cream leather seats and doorcards so will just want a new roof liner and carpet set. Will fit a basic audio setup. Will replace the seat rails so that my short but very lovely wife can drive it (Love you). Engine is great, fully chromed, twin carbs, looks great, dont know if i trust it to get us to RTTS and back as dont know the history so am wanting a recon lump that will be reliable so that I can strip mine down and rebuild it stronger and faster. This is the guy that had it before me | |

| Jesus, Just stripped the interiour out today to get it ready for Steve and Rixy and have found a large amount of bad repairs and looooaaaaaads of rust on the floorpan and heat exchanges, Im sure its all repairable tho. Think it looks mainly surface and not too rotten.. Fingers crossed... | |
