see it on ebay and went to look at it and was a price i couldnt turn down. The only problem with it was that the head gasket needed replacing which we have done.

i then first stripped out the parcel shelf, as you can see some yob had put 6x9s in it so that came straight out





then it was time to take out the rear seats (making room for the roll cage and rear strut brace







i then took out the wiring, they had left the wiring to the 6x9s and possibly a sub and to be honest my grandma could have wired them up neater than that



i then took all the boot trims out as well



need to get a new headliner



then got the autoglym paint restorer out and gave the dub a good old rubbing, rubba dub dub!! pictures dont show how good that paint work is

i did have more in between stages however i lost my phone in a club during carnage whilst crowd surfing so have lost them all
ive got the rollcage in at last, will notice there is new rear lights on which i picked up for a 5er, schweet. theyre not staying but just tidies it a little bit

as you can see coilovers are fitted crosshair headlights, the grill is not staying just better than my horrible one till i get my new one. and obviously these beautiful seats, half leather recaros from a rover coupe..didnt want bucket seats and i wanted something sporty, perfect
just gotta find some rimmage, thinking 14s but i dno, maybe smidht modernlines or bbs rms

so what you gonna do with it?

well the engines out so ill clean up the engine bay and stick in the 50,000 mile 1.6 out of perriss' auto (but keeping the manual gearbox that comes with clarkies) going to stick on some P slots that i have (BMW Amphrosite) and it will have small gti bumpers (the strips will be amphrosite aswell) and ill try and find a decent gti interior. so pretty similar to my old 1.3. this will be just a project and keeping the leon as the daily.
