Hey ppl, got a problem with my clutch! The pedal is sitting very low to the floor and some times I'm finding it hard to get it into gear! If anyone can help me out that would be awesome, or if someone could take a look at it for me that would be even better! Thanks guys

You say the pedal is sittin close to the floor mate, has the pedal dropped or do you meen the biting point? Does it slip?

The pedal use to sit higher than it does now, it doesn't slip out of gear or anything like that, just sometimes its hard to get it into gear!

Ok your proberly using a hydro clutch so what could be wrong with that. Checked fluid?

If it's running a cable conversion is that ok?

I've checked all fluid bottles under the bonnet and they all seem to be at the correct levels!
Not sure what else to check, it could be using a cable but I'm not sure!

look under the bonnet, on top of the gearbox, is there a black cable sheath(about 10mm diameter) running to a large long lever arm on the front side of the gearbox?

Or is there a rubber pipe, with a coil looking metal pipe, running into a mslave cylinder on top of the gearbox?

this will tell you if its cable / hydro??

If its cable, possibility of stratched / nearly snapped cable? Could be a faulty pedal bracked maybe??

If its hydro, could be system needs bleeding / has a leak? Again, could be faulty pedal bracket? Faulty slave cylinder?

In both cases, i have seen the actual clutch release arm inside the grabox fatigue and crack over time, and then bend internally, and not work correctly? though this is a last resort, check everything else first, as this means gearbox off??
