hi i am looking for either a 1.3 or a 1.6 hard top mk1 golf if anyone has one for sale of knows of soomebody with one for sale wouldme much appreciated if could let me know.

my mate has a five door hard top diesel i think which just sits there cuz he just bort a vr6

my mate is selling the mk1 its in reasinable nick for age of car only a few lil bits of surface rust all welding what needed to be done has been done new water pump etc ect

is it a hard top or soft top?

its a hard top mate diesel

this is just me being picky but i would like a 3 door. i also dont mind if it is a gti either

yea 3 doors are beta but a gti as a first car would be pretty exspensive to insure have you had any quotes???

way to expensive u need a 1.1/1.3 much better..

have a look on piston heads and volks zone mk1 golf come up on them all the time..

thanks for the advise. i just bought a 1.3 3door mk1 hard top off ebay for £650 with years tax and mot. bargain?

and not bad for a mk1 golf with 1.3 engine not bad price at all...

shuld be fun gunna be my lil project.
re-spray, slam it and get some sweet alloys for it and a jetex exhaust system

should be good. any suggestions on colours? need ideas.....

Standard mk1 colours? Depends what look you go for. Could go for some sort of a pastel if your having chrome bumpers ect. Or you could take a modern colour, like the whites on focus's and scirocco's?.
