| Hey guys it looks like my mims won't fit over the 280mm brakes i've got to fit so has anyone got any 4 x 100 15" wheels they wanna swap, do a deal on ect. Would prefer either good newish tyres or no tyres at all. The tyres on mine are getting low so generally needs a new set on it.
Cheers | |

| why wont they fit over your brakes?
offset? run some real thin spacers
if its the size of the wheel, surely another set of 15's might catch the same.

| People saying the design of the wheel inside is quite narrow, so just simply dosn't fit. Most 15's fit over 280's, theres just some that need spacers ect. I think even 15" ra's fit over but you need to shave the pad down or the caliper slightly lol. | |

| Yea mine have been rolled (unprofesionally) and yea we cut the arch's away. It always scrubs on the passenger left though I think that arch needs doing again. I don't think it's the caliper hitting the spokes it'll hit the inside of the wheel on my mims so spacer's can't cure that. I'm still looking for wheels lol been looking at ra's, g60 steels ect. Just have to see what comes up need some for june. | |

| dep-ends on what look your trying to acheive.
the mims have a bit of dish so with work it easily would have a fat stance.
but with g60/passat steels or RA's its always gonna be a bit plain.
my 16v looks boring when on the RA's, but is suppose it will do compared to the oz's.

| Yea this is what I was thinking. On g60's the wheel is gunna sit so far in my arch's the plastic bit is gunna overhang loads and it'll look stupid. Same with ra's but they'll need spacers. I could space them out 20mm a side or somthing mental so they sit flush with the archs, but it's the cost of ra's and spacers for a generally bland wheel. Tbh I think I'll roll with anything half decent with good tyres for a while, till I get the mot out of the way ect. But for mot I need to fit my brakes so I need new wheels lmao! The thing with looking at wheels is most of them I look I'm just like, meh. I either want somthing tracky (compomotive th-monos in black ) or something a bit blingy. But on the blingy side of things I don't wanna run massive stretch because I like to give my car hell. I should rock some venoms | |

| in my last post i started to type that you should get some lenso bbs rs/rm style wheels.
but then i thought....you wouldnt clean them and being rep's they would go crap so quickly if not looked after.
im tempetd to say try my weigh king wheels but then ive had them for years and have never ran them myself....im waiting for my 8v to give them a go

| on another note.
BBS rj or rz (cant remember which) come in a 7x15. think old E30 bmw's. theyd take less spacing at the back to get them out and then tuck the fronts.
